FYSA Field Complex Info

The Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association was officially born in 1978 and soccer has become a huge part of the interior Alaskan community. For much of FYSA's early years, soccer was played at various fields spread around town just like many other cities across the US. Development on the complex began in the 80's and was just a single field in the northwest corner of the area you see above. Little by little that expanded into what now serves as an all-in-one location for our summer programs. The 47 acres of grass fields are located at Davis Road and Wilbur Street, with our primary fields for games being those on the north half, with additional practice fields maintained across the street. In 2015, ribbon was cut on the two multi-sport artificial turf fields that allow us to take a few months back from Mother Nature, a huge deal for the local sports community! As you can see from the Google satellite images, FYSA is fortunate to be located right in the center of Fairbanks. The above drone photo was taken between 11pm and midnight on a beautiful July night in 2017. While our field layout changes year to year, our dedication to maintaining the best soccer facility in all of Alaska does not. Many families who move to Fairbanks are shocked to see this complex located right in the heart of our city and that our staff pours their hearts and souls into this wonderful treasure of a facility. We look forward to having you here on the fields with us!
